How To Cook Mashed Potato Casserole With Onion And Yellow Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

750 grams of potatoes
40 grams of butter
1 large onion
100 milliliters of milk
200 grams of grated yellow cheese
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
salt and ground pepper to taste
1 tomato

 

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Boil the potatoes in salted water (about 15-20 minutes) and mash them.
Finely chop the onion and fry until golden in hot oil. Then add the milk. When it boils, add 3/4 of the grated yellow cheese, mustard, spices to taste and pour over the potatoes.


Grease a suitable bowl with oil, pour in the mashed potatoes, sprinkle with the remaining yellow cheese and arrange the tomato circles on the surface. Bake the dish in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
