Learn how to cook "Mashed potatoes with fried onions and nutmeg". Delicious recipe.
Necessary products:
500 grams of potatoes
200 milliliters of cream or milk
1 red onion
2 small shallots
30 grams of butter
1 egg
a pinch of grated nutmeg

Method of preparation:
Peel the potatoes and boil them. Finely chop the onion and fry it in butter. Beat the egg together with the nutmeg and salt. Heat the cream, but do not let it boil. Thoroughly mash the potatoes together with the warm cream / milk, no lumps should form. Determine the density yourself according to your preferences. Then add the egg and fried onions to the puree, mix well with a wire whisk.
Tip: do not fry onions until golden brown.
