How To Cook Mashed Potatoes With Yogurt, Parmesan And Basil - Recipe

Mashed potatoes go well with yogurt, parmesan and fresh basil leaves. Served with fish or steak will give a finished look to the dish.

Required products :

  • 800 grams of potatoes
  • 120-130 grams of natural yogurt
  • connection fresh basil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation :

Peel the potatoes, cut them into 2-4 pieces and put in a saucepan. Add the peeled garlic cloves and pour boiling water, add salt. Place the pan on the hob, close with a lid and cook the potatoes over medium heat until cooked through (about 25-30 minutes).
Then drain the liquid, leave the potatoes for a few minutes to dry and mash. Add grated Parmesan cheese, yogurt and olive oil. Beat with a wire whisk or use a mixer (on low speed).
Finally add the finely chopped basil, stir and serve.
