How To Cook Meatballs In Onion Rings Stuffed With Cheddar - Recipe

Required products :

  • 3 onions
  • 500 grams of minced beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt, pepper and garlic powder
  • cheddar cheese for sandwiches on slices
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped pickles

for the sauce:

  • 300 grams of mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of vinegar, sugar, onion and garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 pinch of white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons white wheat flour
  • 3 broken eggs
  • 2 teaspoons panko breadcrumbs

Method of preparation :

 

First, cut the onion into three 3s and divide the rings.

Season the minced meat with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Put an onion ring on a plate and press a little minced meat into it.

Top with 1 slice of cheese (in the shape of a circle), a few pickles and cover with another slice of cheese.

 

Fill the top with more minced meat.

Bread each resulting meatball first in flour, then in egg, breadcrumbs, again in egg and roll again in breadcrumbs. Fry until it acquires a golden brown crispy crust.

 

For the sauce, mix the mayonnaise with the other products and spices. Stir well with a fork to get a smooth mixture.

Serve the meatballs with the sauce.
