Necessary products

For the meatballs:

1 kg minced meat mixture
1 large onion
1 egg
3 slices stale bread
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley
other green spices of your choice
salt and ground black pepper to taste

For the radiant sauce:

5 onions
1/2 teaspoon wine
1 teaspoon ketchup
1 teaspoon sugar
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Fill the bread with water, peel the onion and grind.

Add onion, drained bread, egg and olive oil to the minced meat.

 

Finally, add green spices, salt and ground black pepper to taste. Knead everything and put the mixture in the refrigerator.

 

Start making the sauce.

Cut the onion into medium and slightly thin pieces.

 

Stew it briefly in hot fat, then pour the wine. Leave on medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring.

 

The alcohol should evaporate and then add the ketchup, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Pour half a glass of water, stir and let the sauce simmer until done.

 

Transfer to a tray. Remove the minced meat from the refrigerator, form meatballs from it, which you arrange on the onion sauce.

 

Bake the dish in a preheated 200 degree oven until ready. When the meatballs turn red, turn them over.
