Required products :
300 grams of minced meat
150 grams of bread
100 milliliters of milk
1 egg
3 teaspoons tomato paste
4 tablespoons chopped green onions
salt to taste
ground black pepper, dried basil and other spices of your choice
For the sauce:
frying oil
1 medium onion
1 medium carrot
2 medium zucchini
5 medium tomatoes
2 tablespoons chopped dill
spices - dried basil, ground coriander, bay leaf and others of your choice
salt to taste
Preparation :
Remove the crust from the slices of bread, pour the milk with the middle and mash with a fork. Mix with the minced meat.
Add the egg, green onion, tomato paste, salt and spices. Mix everything thoroughly.
Next is the vegetable sauce.
Peel and finely chop the onion, carrot and zucchini grate.
Fry onions in hot oil, add the carrots and 5 minutes later the zucchini.
Allow to simmer under a lid for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, grate the tomatoes and add them to the remaining vegetables. Stir, add the spices and let the sauce simmer for another 15 minutes with the lid closed.
Form meatballs from the minced meat and put them in the boiling sauce.
Close the pan and let the dish simmer for 20-30 minutes on low heat. Put the dill at the end.
