How To Cook Meatballs With Cream Sauce And Fruit Jelly - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 1 large boiled potato
  • 1/4 tea cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 500 grams of minced meat mixture (or 250 grams of pork and beef)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 egg
  • frying oil (1 tablespoon)

for the sauce:

  • 1/2 teaspoon cream
  • 1/3 tea cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • fruit jelly

Method of preparation :

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a pan and fry the onions until golden.

Put it in a bowl, add potatoes to it and mash. In a bowl of water add the flour and mix the porridge, pour it over the potatoes. Add the minced meat and thyme, season with salt, finally beat 1 egg and knead. Shape meatballs the size of a ping pong ball.

Fry them in 1 tablespoon of butter until browned on all sides. Transfer them to the pan for 15 minutes to bake in the oven at 190 degrees.

Meanwhile, prepare the sauce.

Put the cream in a saucepan and put on the stove at medium heat. Add the broth and soy sauce. Stir constantly until the sauce begins to thicken and boil.

Serve the meatballs with sauce, along with a spoonful of fruit jelly, if desired.
