Required products :

  • 500 grams of minced beef
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (or ground dry bread)
  • 3 green onion stalks, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • hot red pepper, salt and pepper to taste
  • frying oil
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 3/4 tea cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 tea cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
  • 3 packs of instant noodles spaghetti
  • sesame for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

Mix the minced meat with the breadcrumbs, egg, green onion, garlic and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Form round meatballs.

Heat a little plain oil in a pan and fry them for about 3 minutes on each side to acquire a crispy crust. Transfer them to a plate.

Put the remaining sesame oil in the same pan. Add the ginger and, after releasing its aroma, add the broth, soy sauce, brown sugar and Hoisin sauce. Stir and when it boils, return the meatballs to the sauce. Stir to taste evenly, and simmer under a lid for 10 minutes until the meat is ready.

Meanwhile, cook the noodles: pour hot water over them and let them swell, then drain.

Put the prepared spaghetti in the sauce and stir, sprinkle with a little green onion and sesame seeds.
