Required products :

  • 220 grams of cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup stewed spinach
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella
  • 250 grams of minced beef
  • 250 grams of minced pork
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Marinara sauce
  • 1/2 packet grams of fettuccine (or spaghetti) - pre-cooked

Method of preparation :

Mix the cream cheese with the stewed spinach, garlic powder and mozzarella. Stir to mix the ingredients well.

In another bowl, combine the two types of minced meat, along with finely chopped parsley, egg, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Mix well until you get a homogeneous mixture.

Take some minced meat, spread it on your palm, put in the center 1 teaspoon of spinach cheese and wrap it. Form a ball with rotating movements. Do the same with the other meatballs.

Heat a large non-stick pan on the stove and arrange the meatballs without adding any fat, rely only on the one that will release the meat.

After frying them on each side, add the Marinara sauce and stir. Allow to simmer on the stove for 15 minutes on medium heat until the sauce thickens.

Serve the meatballs with some of the tomato sauce on the cooked fettuccine.
