Necessary products

For the meatballs:

  • 500 grams of ground beef or pork (can mix)
  • 2-3 eggs
  • 100 grams of old bread
  • 100 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 100 grams of yellow cheese
  • salt, parsley and black pepper

For the tomato sauce:

  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • liter of boiling water
  • left

 

Method of preparation :

Chop the pre-cleaned and washed parsley.

 

Grate the cheese.

 

Drizzle the bread with fresh milk. In a bowl, mix the minced meat, eggs, drained bread, cheese and parsley. Forge.

 

Mix well.

 

Make small round meatballs by wetting your hands first.

 

Peel onions and garlic cloves, chop finely.

 

Fry them together in hot oil (on low heat), stirring, for about 5 minutes.

 

In a liter of boiling water, dissolve the tomato puree, add salt (an option is to use a liter of tomato juice).

Pour into the pan with the fried onions and garlic, place on the stove. Once the sauce boils, put the meatballs in it.

 

Cover with a lid and simmer for 40-50 minutes (the liquid should thicken).

 

Serve with your favorite garnish.
