Required products :

1 kg of immature melon (cleaned of seeds and bark)

2 pounds of sugar

2 teaspoons water

 

Method of preparation :

Cut the melon into small pieces or cubes, sprinkle with alcohol, add 500 grams of sugar and store in the refrigerator for 2 hours. From the remaining sugar and water, boil a syrup to pour over the melon (the syrup should cool). Leave until the next day, when you drain the syrup, bring it to a boil again, let it cool and pour over the fruit. On the third day, boil the melon together with the syrup until ready.

You can close in jars in the standard way or consume immediately.
