The most delicious and easy to prepare milk cake cake you can imagine. Spread between two such raspberry icing and sprinkle on top with powdered sugar to make the perfect cake for your holiday.

Required products :

  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter + more for garnish
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method of preparation :

Grease the bottom and sides of two round trays with a diameter of 23 cm. Cover the bottom of both with baking paper. Turn the oven to 180 degrees.

In a saucepan, heat the milk and butter until low, until the butter is melted, then set aside. Mix the flour and baking powder and sift into a bowl.

In a bowl with a mixer on low speed beat the eggs with salt, sugar and vanilla, then increase to medium to high speed and beat until fluffy texture (takes 3 to 5 minutes).

Carefully pour the milk mixture into the pot of hot milk, stirring constantly with a wire spoon. Add the flour mixture several times, stirring until smooth with a rubber spatula.

Divide the dough into the two prepared trays and smooth. Bake until golden for about 20 minutes, remove and cool to room temperature.
