Required products :

2 teaspoons millet
500 milliliters of vegetable or meat broth
350 grams of mushrooms
2 onions
1 egg
3 cloves garlic
100 grams of breadcrumbs
frying oil

salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Clean the millet, wash it thoroughly with cold water several times (at least 3). Put on the stove, pour a large amount of water when it boils, drain it and wash the beans again. Pour the broth over them and put the pot back on the fire until the millet boils. A paste should be obtained, so if necessary, wait for the broth to evaporate.
Season the porridge with salt and ground black pepper, stir until you get a dough-like mixture.
Finely chop the mushrooms and onions. Stew onions until golden in oil, then add the mushrooms and stew until done. Finally, add the chopped garlic, season with salt and pepper, remove the pan from the heat.

Form a base of "dough" with a thickness of about 5 millimeters and a diameter of 7-8 centimeters. In the middle of the layer put the mushroom stuffing and form balls. Dip them in beaten egg, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil until golden brown (you can use a deep fryer).
Remove the finished croquettes on paper to drain off excess fat.
You can serve with lettuce or meat.
Enjoy your meal!
