Learn how to cook "Minced casserole with cauliflower and yellow cheese". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
1 head of cauliflower (medium)
3 - 4 tablespoons sour cream or mayonnaise
grease to lubricate the vessel
50 - 70 grams of yellow cheese (for sprinkling)
ground red pepper
500 - 600 grams of minced meat of your choice
1 egg
1 clove garlic
1 onion
30 - 50 grams of smoked bacon on request
salt, black and red pepper to taste
Method of preparation :
Wash the cauliflower, put it in a large saucepan, pour cold water and leave for about 10-15 minutes. Then transfer the vegetables to a bowl of boiling salted water and when it boils, reduce the heat, let the cabbage boil for 5 - 7 minutes (it should soften but not boil). Remove from the water and allow to cool.
Carefully cut the "roses" from the cob, trying to keep the incision as close to the base as possible.
Prepare the minced meat. Peel onions and garlic, chop finely. Cut the bacon into small cubes.
Heat oil (or butter) in a suitable pan and fry the bacon until lightly browned. Then add the onion, a pinch of salt and fry, stirring until the onion softens. Put a small pinch of sugar and let the onion cook until it starts to turn red. Then add the garlic, stir and 30 - 40 seconds later remove the pan from the heat and cool slightly.
Add onion with bacon, egg, salt and pepper to taste to the minced meat. Knead well and shape it into a ball. Put in a greased pan and carefully arrange the "bouquets" of cauliflower on the meat base. Spread the surface with cream (or mayonnaise), sprinkle with grated cheese and bake the dish until golden brown.
