How To Cook Minced Meat With Potatoes, Raisins And Peppers - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1/2 onion, cut into thin crescents
  • 2 jalapeno peppers - without seeds
  • 500 grams of minced beef
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 8 green olives - pitted jar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive brine
  • 1/4 tea cup raisins - soaked in water for 20 minutes
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 potatoes, cut into piles
  • 1/4 tea cup olive oil

Method of preparation :

Fry onions and peppers for 5 minutes in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. When the vegetables soften, remove them to a plate.

Fry the minced meat in the pan, using a spatula to chop it. Fry it for 3 minutes, then return the vegetables to it. Continue cooking for another 7-8 minutes until the meat is ready.

Add the garlic, and 2 minutes later add all the spices, along with the tomatoes (diced and peeled) and the olives. Fry for about 10 minutes until the tomatoes form a sauce.

Fry the potatoes in a quarter cup of olive oil and mix them with the other products.

Season the dish to taste with salt and pepper and serve warm.
