Required products :

100 grams of bacon

500 grams of beef

1 egg

0.5 teaspoon salt

0.5 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon dried marjoram

tiny nutmeg

a little Tabasco sauce

parsley

1 - 2 cloves garlic

1 - 2 onions + 4 more for garnish

2 tablespoons melted butter

Method of preparation :

Grind the bacon, chop the meat as finely as possible (it is an option to use coarsely ground minced meat). Chop the onion, mash the garlic and mix the products we have mentioned so far. Then beat the egg, add the spices and chopped parsley.

Knead the minced meat and pour 1/2 teaspoon of water. Knead for another 2-3 minutes and divide the mixture into 4 parts. Flatten each of them and shape into a meatball about 1 cm thick. Cover with foil and store in the refrigerator for an hour.

Put the butter in a pan and when it melts, put the meatballs. Frying time depends on your meat preferences. If you like red, 2-3 minutes on each side is enough. If not, cook for 5-6 minutes on each side. Remove to a suitable plate.

Cut the remaining onion into large pieces. You must provide 1 onion for each meatball.

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and fry the onion in it, but do not fry, it should not soften much. Spread it on the meatballs.

If you wish, you can also fry one egg. Some add french fries, but maybe that will be too much. A matter of choice.

Enjoy your meal!
