Learn how to cook "Mini pie with apple filling and dulce de leche". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 2 1/3 tea cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon mix spices for pumpkin
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 200 grams of cold butter, chopped
  • 600 grams of apples, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup dulce de leche
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Method of preparation :

Sift the flour with the spice and powdered sugar. Add 150 grams of butter and grind in a food processor to obtain crumbs. You can do the procedure by hand, but the goal is to keep the oil as cold as possible. Add 2-3 tablespoons of cold water and blend again until the dough begins to form a ball. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt the remaining oil in a saucepan and add 3 tablespoons of water. Put the apples and cook on medium heat for 15-20 minutes until soft. Wait for them to cool and mix with dulce de leche.

Preheat oven to 180 degrees and grease a pan with 6 muffin tins or cover with paper towels.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut six circles with a diameter of 12 centimeters. Knead the dough again and cut six 6 cm in diameter circles. Place the larger circles in the muffin cups and arrange for a bowl to form.

Fill with apple filling. Spread with 1 beaten egg and cover with the smaller circles, pressing the edges. Use the rest of the dough to make a decoration of your choice, then spread it again with the egg. Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 20-30 minutes, until golden.

Wait for the cupcakes to cool for 10 minutes before removing them from the tins. When serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
