Required products :
250 grams of mint leaves
1 kg of sugar
2 lemons
500 milliliters of water
Method of preparation :
Wash the mint leaves, dry them and chop them. Cut the lemons into small pieces together with the peel. Mix the lemon and mint in a suitable saucepan, pour the water and let it boil for 10 minutes. Then let the mixture stand overnight.
Strain the next day, filter the liquid, add the sugar and cook until thickened.
Distribute the finished jam in sterilized jars while still hot and close.
