Necessary products:

  • 750 grams of minced meat
  • 500 grams of potatoes
  • 150 grams of onions
  • 300-400 grams of tomatoes
  • 2-3 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 2-3 eggs
  • 100 milliliters of oil
  • 200 milliliters of fresh milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation:

Finely chop the onion and fry it in hot oil until golden. Then add the minced meat, cut into small pieces of tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, stew for a few minutes. Cut the potatoes into circles or cubes and fry separately until cooked in oil. Pour half of the minced meat in the pan in which you will bake the moussaka, put a layer of potatoes on it and then the other half of the minced meat. Pour a little water and put in the oven to bake until the liquid evaporates.

Meanwhile, fry the flour in oil, let it cool a bit, add the milk and cook until the mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Cool the resulting sauce and add the eggs to it. Stir thoroughly and pour over the moussaka. Return to the oven until an appetizing golden crust forms.
