How To Cook Muffins With Bacon, Chives And Eggs - Recipe

Required products :

  • 120 grams of bacon, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon grated cheese
  • 1 1/4 tea flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon buttermilk / or 1/2 teaspoon fresh milk + 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar /
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Method of preparation :

  • Grease 4 muffin tins with oil and preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Bake the bacon in a pan over medium heat until lightly browned and transfer it to kitchen paper to drain off excess fat.
  • Mix the flour, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl. Stir.
  • In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, sour cream, butter and egg. Stir and season with salt.
  • Add the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  • Add the bacon, green onions and grated cheese to the resulting mixture and stir again to distribute evenly.
  • Pour 3 tablespoons of the dough into each form.
  • Using a spoon, form a nest in the middle and beat 1 egg.
  • Spread the remaining dough on top and sprinkle with melted butter.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove the muffin tin from the oven and wait 5 minutes before removing the cupcakes.
  • Serve warm.
