Necessary products:

2 eggs

100 g butter

100 g of sugar

60 ml of honey

pinch of salt

1 baking powder

peel of 1 lemon

2 tsp lemon juice

210 g of flour

3 medium apples

walnuts on request

Method of preparation:

Mix the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light. Melt the butter and allow it to cool. Add honey, butter, lemon zest and juice to the beaten eggs. Pour the dry ingredients and knead the dough. Cut the apples into pieces and add to it (you can also add ground walnuts if you wish). Divide the mixture into muffin tins (if they are not paper, you should grease them with butter and sprinkle with flour). Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, and check the readiness with a toothpick.
