Required products :

600 milliliters of dark beer

1 lemon (peel only)

pinch of grated ginger

nutmeg

cinnamon stick (maybe ground)

cardamom to taste

3 - 4 cloves

honey to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Pour the beer into a saucepan and place on the stove. Heat to maximum, but do not allow to boil. Then reduce the temperature to a minimum and add to the hot beer the lemon peel, cut into wide strips, the spices (without honey). Allow the drink to absorb the aromas and increase the temperature to reheat (without boiling). When this happens, remove the pan from the heat. Honey is not added to hot drinks, so let the mulled wine cool a bit and then sweeten. Pour into suitable cups and you can serve with pieces of fruit and a cinnamon stick (if you have not used ground before).
