Required products :

  • 100 grams of butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground sweet red pepper
  • 50 grams of dried white mushrooms
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large potato
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 100 grams of fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • black pepper, salt, parsley

Method of preparation :

Pour boiling water over the dried mushrooms and leave to cool. Then pour them into a colander to drain the liquid, which you can keep and use when cooking other dishes.

Cut the steamed mushrooms into straws and turn the fresh mushrooms into thin slices. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan, pour onion and garlic, fry them for 4 minutes. Then add the mushrooms and cook until all the liquid has evaporated. Then pour the dried mushrooms in a bowl and leave on low heat for 8 minutes.

Dissolve the flour in the cream until smooth and add the mixture to the mushrooms. Mix very well and season with salt and pepper.  

Peeled potatoes cut into thin circles, do not rinse and do not put in water so as not to wash away the starch.

Grease the bottom of the pan with oil and arrange 1/3 of the potato slices in it. Grease them with oil, add salt and distribute half of the mushroom stuffing. Flatten, add another 1/3 of the potatoes, and cover them with oil, add salt and spread another layer of the remaining mushrooms.

Arrange the last potato rings on top, sprinkle with ground red pepper (sweet), cover with aluminum foil and place the dish in the oven at a temperature of 200 degrees.

After an hour, remove the coating and return the cake for another ten minutes in the oven to bake and redden the potato surface.

The dish is served warm and sprinkled with chopped fresh parsley leaves. In addition, you can serve sour cream.
