Necessary products:

 

  • 1 onion
  • 1 stalk of leek, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • a few sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable broth
  • 300 grams of mushrooms
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 liter of water
  • 150 grams of barley
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

 

Method of preparation:

 

Boil the barley and set it aside. In the same water add finely chopped onions, leeks, garlic, mushrooms and carrots. Pour water, add bay leaf, salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme.

 

Add olive oil. Pour the barley and cook over low heat until the vegetables are soft. When ready, pour into bowls and serve the soup warm.
