Required products :

  • 3/4 tea cup of rice (washed and dried)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery stalk
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 240 grams of mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1/2 tea glass of white dry wine
  • 6 teaspoons chicken broth
  • 2 tea cups chopped boiled chicken
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cream
  • 1/3 tea cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme

Method of preparation :

Boil the rice in salted with a quarter teaspoon of salt water until ready. If necessary, drain excess water from it.

Meanwhile, melt the butter and fry the onions, carrots and celery in it for 5 minutes. Add the mushrooms and garlic, after another 5 minutes all the vegetables should be ready. Pour the wine and stir, let it cook for a minute.

Add the broth, meat, half a spoon of salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Combine cream and flour. Using a ladle, pour some of the soup over the flour and then pour the contents into the pan. Cook for a few minutes until the soup begins to thicken. Add the thyme and rice, and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season for the last time if necessary with salt and pepper and serve.
