Making pasta with mussels is a quick and easy dish that does not require much effort. The result is very good in the end, and the combination is typical of the Mediterranean countries.

Required products :

  • 1 kg of mussels
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 stalks of leeks, cut
  • 500 grams of cider
  • 250 grams of tagliatelle
  • 1 tablespoon wholemeal mustard
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley

Method of preparation :

Wash the mussels under cold running water and rub them with a sponge. Discard broken ones and open ones.

Heat olive oil in a pan and put garlic and leeks in it. Fry for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened. Add the cider and season. Put the pasta and cook for 5 minutes.

Then pour the mustard and mussels. Cover with a lid and cook for another 5 minutes. Discard those mussels that are unopened.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.
