Required products :

  • 100 grams of long grain rice
  • 400 grams of cleaned mussels (without shell)
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 2 onions
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • green onions for decoration
  • 1/2 bunch parsley


Method of preparation :

Wash the rice, boil it until fully cooked in slightly salted water. Meanwhile, cut the onion heads into thin semicircles.

Wash the mussels well, fry them in oil for 5 minutes, then add the onion semicircles and cook for another 5 minutes. Then pour 2 tablespoons of white wine, the same amount of water, close the pan with a lid and stew for another quarter of an hour.

Mix the rice with the mussels and the sauce in which they were cooked. Add to the dish chopped parsley, green onions and you can serve immediately.
