Fry cumin seeds in hot oil for 1 minute. Add the ginger paste and garlic and simmer for another minute.
Add both onions and fry until browned.
Add the tomatoes and close the bowl. Cook until soft and turn into a sauce.
Put the mussels and stew until ready. Add salt to taste, season with garam masala and coriander leaves, stir.
Serve with boiled rice.
