How To Cook Napoleon Cake With Cream Cheese, Honey And Blueberries - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • cinnamon
  • Brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cream
  • 115 grams of cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 tea cup of honey

For garnish :

  • fresh blueberries / or other fruits of your choice /
  • powdered sugar or honey

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and cover the bottom of the pan with baking paper.
  • Cut the puff pastry into squares and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  • Spread them in the pan and bake for about 15 minutes, until they swell and turn slightly brown.
  • Wait for them to cool completely and divide them lengthwise in half.
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream with a mixer until the stirrers begin to form soft peaks.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese with the grated lemon zest, freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey. Stir.
  • Add the honey mixture to the cream and mix until homogeneous.
  • Assemble the cakes by placing the bottom half of the baked puff pastry in a plate.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of lemon cream on top and sprinkle with fresh blueberries or other fruits of your choice.
  • Cover with the second half, spread with cream and garnish as desired - with honey, fruit, powdered sugar, etc.
