Required products :

200 grams of carrots

200 grams of frozen or canned peas

350 grams of potatoes

200 grams of boiled ham

100 grams of apples

5 boiled eggs

lemon juice

salt and pepper to taste

For the sauce :

6 tablespoons mayonnaise

3 tablespoons heavy cream

1 tablespoon mustard

200 milliliters of vegetable broth

20 grams of gelatin

Method of preparation :

Boil the potatoes, carrots and peas. Cut the vegetables into cubes. If you use canned peas, drain the liquid and leave it to prepare the sauce. Cut the apples and ham into small pieces. Sprinkle the fruit with lemon juice and mix all products.

Put the mayonnaise in a separate bowl, add the cream, mustard, salt and pepper. Dissolve the gelatin in 200 ml of vegetable broth and add the liquid to the sauce. After it cools down, pour it over the products.

Cover the bottom of the form with foil so that its edges protrude beyond the container. Spread a layer of half the vegetables, put the boiled and peeled eggs (whole) on them and cover with the rest of the vegetables. Wrap the salad in foil and refrigerate for 8 hours to firm the jelly. Transfer the finished dish to a suitable dish and decorate with parsley leaves, pieces of red pepper or as you see fit.

Enjoy your meal!
