How To Cook Oatmeal Dessert With Coffee And Coconut Mousse - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Oat dessert with coffee and coconut mousse". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products

For the base of the dessert:

  • 4 tablespoons oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 2 eggs

For mousse:

  • 400 milliliters of coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 20 grams of cocoa powder
  • vanilla to taste

Method of preparation :

First make the base of the dessert. To do this, fry the milk powder in a non-fat pan until the product turns dark beige. This will give the finished cake a pleasant taste and aroma. Then, using a food processor, grind the dry ingredient together with two teaspoons of instant coffee.

Grind the oats (they should turn into crumbs) and add the starch and baking powder.

Divide the eggs into yolks and whites. Beat the yolks with the water and sugar until fluffy, and beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.

Add the dry ingredients to the yolks and stir. Then combine with the egg white foam and mix thoroughly until smooth.

Grease a silicone mold measuring 18 x 20 cm with oil and pour the dough into it. Place it in the oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, then check the readiness (use a stick).

When the base is ready, carefully remove it from the mold and leave to cool, and in the meantime start preparing the mousse.

Using a wire whisk, stir in the coconut milk and add the cocoa, vanilla and powdered sugar. Work quickly because the mousse melts at room temperature.

Divide the marsh into two parts. Apply part of the coconut cream on one and cover with the other half of the oatmeal base.

Decorate the dessert with the remaining mousse, using a pastry syringe with a suitable nozzle. Sprinkle with coconut shavings if desired.

Before serving the culinary sweetness, put it in the fridge for a while so that the cream can set.

Enjoy!
