Required products :

  • 1.5 tea cups of oatmeal (cup with a capacity of 240 ml)
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 1.5 teaspoons brown sugar (maybe white)
  • 1.5 tablespoons oil (preferably canola)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.5 teaspoon leavening agent
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (or vanillin)
  • pinch of salt

Method of preparation :

Sift all dry ingredients (flour, leavening agent, salt and sugar) and mix in a bowl. In a separate bowl put the liquids - milk, eggs, oil and essence. Beat lightly with a wire whisk. Then pour in the dry ingredients, mix well. Heat the pan and sprinkle with grease. When hot, add the dough and bake the katmi. If you pour about 60 grams, you will get 12 pieces. Wait until bubbles form on the katmas and then turn on the other side for another 20-30 seconds. That is all.

Serve with banana rings sprinkled with almonds and honey. You can use strawberry syrup, fresh fruit and honey, maple syrup, apple or orange jam, fruit milk, cream with sugar, chocolate sauce and everything in the fridge.

 

When preparing the dough you can add a pinch of cinnamon, orange peel or dried fruit.
