Required products :

  • 2 strips of bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 85 grams of oatmeal
  • 240 milliliters of water
  • 50-80 grams of yellow cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • spices
  • green onions to serve

Method of preparation :

Cut the bacon strips and put the pieces in a cold pan without fat, which you put on low heat. After 10 minutes, remove the bacon to a plate and leave about a tablespoon of fat (from the one released during frying) in the bowl.

Pour the chopped old onion into it and fry it for about a minute, stirring constantly.

Then add the oatmeal, stir for 15 seconds and pour in the water. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8-10 minutes until the oats are cooked through.

Meanwhile, fry the eggs in a separate bowl. If you leave the yolk liquid, you will get a delicious sauce to the dish.

One minute before removing the porridge from the stove, add the grated yellow cheese to it.

Then spread in plates or bowls, spread pieces of crispy bacon on the surface, put the eggs and sprinkle with green onions.

Enjoy your meal!
