Necessary products
For the dough:
2 1/4 teaspoons flour
100 grams yellow cheese or hard cheese
1 large head old onion
1 tablespoon chopped green onions
1 egg
1 1/4 teaspoon milk
125 milliliters oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
salt to taste
For the coating:
40 grams of flour
20 grams of butter
1 teaspoon of water
Method of preparation :
Add the vinegar to the milk and let the mixture stand for 20 minutes (it will turn out like buttermilk or whey).
Make the dough for the coating by mixing the flour, butter and water. It should be very dense. Form it as a flat layer and put it in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Take care of the cake itself.
Peel an onion, chop it and fry in oil until soft (about 5 minutes), remove from the heat and leave to cool.
In a suitable bowl, mix the sifted flour with half of the fried onions, half of the yellow cheese and the chopped green onions, and add a pinch of salt.
Beat the egg with the milk that has already stood long enough, and pour in the oil. Add to the dough, mix and pour into a suitable form, the bottom of which you have covered with parchment.
Grate the dough that you froze earlier, add it to the remaining yellow cheese and green onions.
Spread the resulting mixture on the dough in the pan and bake the cake in a preheated
oven to 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
