Learn how to cook "Onion rings with spices and cream sauce with Parmesan". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
4 medium heads red onion
pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon cardamom seeds
1/2 teaspoon anise
pinch red and a pinch of black pepper
2-3 cloves
5 grains of allspice
100 milliliters of cold water
1 egg
3 tablespoons starch
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon oil
For the sauce:
200 milliliters of liquid cream with a fat content of 10%
75 grams of grated Parmesan
salt and white pepper to taste
Method of preparation :
Mix the spices in a dry pan and place on the stove for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Then grind finely in a mortar, adding salt.
Peel an onion, cut it into thin circles. Put it in a bowl and pour the spices into it. Stir to cover all the washers. Leave for 5 minutes.
Make the sauce by first warming the cream, but do not let it boil. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to it and let it melt. Season to taste with salt and white pepper. Transfer to a saucepan.
Beat the egg with the water, add the starch and flour. Stir thoroughly, no lumps should form.
Take some of the onion, dip in the breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil for about 2 minutes. In this way, prepare all the circles and remove the finished ones on paper to absorb the excess fat.
Serve with cream sauce.
