Required products :

  • 2 -3 heads of onions
  • 1 carrot
  • parsnip - optional
  • celery root - optional
  • parsley root - optional
  • a few potatoes
  • 1 piece of plain melted cheese (maybe a little more)
  • 1 cube of broth of your choice
  • a little frying oil
  • parsley and dill
  • Bay leaf
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Cut onions into small cubes, carrots - into straws and fry the two vegetables in oil until golden on low heat. Peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes and pour them into boiling salted water. When it boils, remove the foam, reduce the heat and let the potatoes cook with the lid closed. Add the fried onions and carrots, the remaining roots, the cube of broth, salt and spices. Cook until done.

Finely chop the parsley and dill, cut the melted cheese into pieces and add everything to the soup. Add a bay leaf. Cook for a few minutes, stirring, to melt the cheese.

Submit with croutons.
