Required products :

3 eggs

1 teaspoon granulated sugar

1 cup semolina

1.5 teaspoons flour

1 teaspoon freshly squeezed orange juice

1 baking powder

1 vanilla

grated orange peel to taste

 

For syrup:

3 teaspoons granulated sugar

3 teaspoons water

1/2 lemon

 

Method of preparation :

Beat the eggs well with the sugar for 5 minutes. In a separate bowl, mix the semolina with the flour, vanilla and baking powder. Pour the dry ingredients with the combination of eggs and sugar. Beat everything again and pour the orange juice. Add the grated citrus peel.

Beat and spread the mixture in a pan, the bottom of which you have previously greased with oil and sprinkled with flour.

Bake the dessert in the oven at 170 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes.

Make the syrup. Add sugar and lemon to the water. Place on the hob and after boiling the liquid, watch until it reaches the desired density. The syrup should be neither too liquid nor too thick.

Prepare the syrup before the roar is ready so that you can pour it as soon as you take the dessert out of the oven.

The sweet liquid should not be hot, but slightly warm. The roar should be hot.
