Necessary products

For the dough:

300 grams of flour

180 milliliters of fresh milk

30 grams of butter

1 tablespoon grated orange peel (fresh or dried)

3 tablespoons sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

10 grams of fresh or 1 teaspoon of dry yeast

For sprinkling:

100 grams of sugar

2 tablespoons grated orange peel (fresh or dried)

80 grams of softened butter

Method of preparation :

Knead a soft dough from the products indicated for it. It should not stick to your hands. First, dissolve the fresh yeast in the milk, add the melted butter, sugar, salt, orange peel and flour. Form 8 identical balls.

Mix the grated orange peel with the sugar. Take one ball of dough, spread it well with melted butter and roll in orange "shavings". Distribute them evenly with your fingers. Do the same with the rest of the dough.

Grease a baking dish with butter and place the loaves in it at a distance from each other. Cover them with a towel or foil and leave to rise for 1 hour in a warm place (or until they double in volume).

Preheat oven to 180 degrees and bake snacks (about 25 minutes).

Take them out of the mold while they are still hot, put them to cool on a wire rack.

Enjoy your meal!
