You don't have to spend hours making dozens of pancakes for everyone at home. Instead, make a large one in the oven and serve it to your loved ones. The filling can vary and be both salty and sweet. In this case, we suggest you prepare the pancake with caramelized bananas with rum.

Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon flour
  • 1/2 cup fresh milk
  • pinch of salt

for the stuffing:

  • 1/3 tea cup caramel sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rum
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cream, whipped

Method of preparation :

Turn the oven to 200 degrees.

In a ceramic pan (18 cm in diameter) put the butter and place the dish in the oven for 1 minute to melt the fat with which you grease the walls and bottom of the pan.

Mix all the other products for the dough and carefully pour it into the form.

Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the pancake is golden.

Meanwhile, prepare the banana filling.

Mix the caramel sauce and rum.

Melt the butter in a pan and add the bananas, cook them for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. When they start to soften, remove from the heat and pour the caramel sauce. Stir gently to cover well with it.

When the pancake is baked, pour the bananas on it and cover them with the whipped cream.
