Required products :

  • 10-15 cabbage leaves
  • 150 grams of rice
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 sweet red pepper
  • 500 grams of minced meat
  • salt, pepper, 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 50 grams of ketchup
  • 50 grams of mayonnaise
  • 150 milliliters of broth

 

Method of preparation :

Boil the rice, finely chop the onion, pepper - grate the carrot into small cubes.

 

Fry the vegetables, add the minced meat and stir until whipped.

 

Then pour the rice, parsley, stir and season with salt and pepper, you can use other preferred spices. The filling is ready.

 

Blanch the cabbage leaves or use sauerkraut ones. Remove the hard parts.

Arrange the halves in a tray, overlapping each other. Pour 1/2 of the filling on them and form a roll, closing the minced meat and rice with the cabbage.

 

Make another roll in the same way.

Pour the resulting two large sarmas with the broth (to be salted), which should reach the middle.

Smear the surface with ketchup and mayonnaise.

 

Bake for an hour and 10-15 minutes in the oven at a moderate temperature.

 

Wait for the finished dish to cool, transfer to a plate and cut into pieces.

Serve with the sauce obtained by stewing.
