Required products :

  • 1 kg of sour cream with a fat content of over 30%
  • 500 grams of smoked fish fillet from the Salmon family
  • 2-3 anchovy fillets
  • 350 grams of wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons rye flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 500 milliliters of mineral water
  • 2 tablespoons mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoons cream sauce with horseradish
  • oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • freshly ground black pepper

Method of preparation :

Finely chop the smoked salmon and the anchovies even smaller. Mix the two fish with 500 grams of cream, add the mustard and beat until smooth with a blender. Season with salt, pepper and store the mousse in the refrigerator.

Beat the eggs to a froth and mix with the remaining cream.

Combine wheat and rye flour, add sugar and a pinch of salt. Then combine with the egg-cream mass and mix until smooth.

While stirring, pour a little of the water, you should get a little thick dough. If you find it thick, add a little more water.

Cover the dough with cling film and let stand for at least 20 minutes.

Heat a pan with a diameter of 22-24 centimeters and bake pancakes in it, spreading the bottom of the dish before each one.

When all the pancakes are ready and cool, start "assembling" the cake.

Arrange them on top of each other, spreading fish mousse between them. In the middle of the cake, between two of the pancake layers, put horseradish sauce .

Decorate with mousse.

Place the finished cake in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, covering it with plastic wrap.
