How To Cook Parlenki With Onion, Bacon And Yellow Cheese - Recipe

Necessary products

For the dough:

  • 330-380 grams of flour
  • 8 grams of dry yeast
  • 200 milliliters of warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 5 grams of salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil


For the stuffing:

  • 200 grams of fresh cream or sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 75 grams of grated yellow cheese
  • 100 grams of bacon or smoked ham
  • head old onion
  • green onions to taste
  • black pepper, nutmeg, salt


Method of preparation :

Dissolve in warm water and add sugar. Leave for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, sift the flour, add the already foamed yeast, salt, oil and knead a soft dough. Do not use all the flour at once: first add 320 grams, and the rest later, if necessary. The dough will not stick to your hands. Leave it for half an hour at room temperature to rise.

When this happens, turn on the oven to preheat to 240 degrees and sweep with the filling.

Cut the onion into thin small strips, grate the yellow cheese, turn the bacon into strips, finely chop the green onions.

Beat the egg, add fresh cream/sour cream, yellow cheese, bacon/ham, old and green onions, oil, salt (note that yellow cheese and ham are salty), black pepper, nutmeg and stir.

Divide the dough into four equal parts, roll them out thinly and place in a tray (or two) covered with parchment paper.

Fold or fold the edges of the dough slightly to form boards. Then spread the filling on the bases.

Bake the pearls in the hot oven for 10-15 minutes.

 

They bake quickly, so be careful not to burn them.

  

From the same dough you could make a sweet version with apple filling, for example. Cover the base with fresh cream to which you have added sugar, spread thin pieces of fruit on it and sprinkle with cinnamon.
