Required products :

  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon warm water
  • 3 teaspoons flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter at room temperature
  • 1/4 tea cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 protein, broken down
  • 1 tablespoon ground sea salt

Method of preparation :

Activate the yeast by putting it in the water, add 1 teaspoon of sugar and leave for 5 minutes.

In a bowl, mix the flour with the remaining sugar and salt.

Rub the butter into the flour to make crumbs (you can use a potato press to press the fat to the flour).

Add the yeast and parmesan and knead the dough.

Cover with a towel and leave to rise for 20 minutes.

Divide it into small balls, each of which you shape into a thick saltpet about 22 centimeters long.

Turn the oven to preheat to 200 degrees and arrange the saltines in a baking tray lined with paper.

Leave for 20 minutes (uncovered), then spread them with whipped egg whites, sprinkle with salt and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Serve the salads warm.

You can also serve them with lubim sauce.
