How To Cook Pasta In Milk Sauce With Arugula And Walnuts - Recipe

Required products :

  • 400 grams of pasta
  • 200 grams of arugula
  • 100 grams of walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup fresh milk
  • 100 grams of yellow cheese
  • a pinch of salt and ground black pepper


Method of preparation :

Roast the nuts in a pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes (until they begin to emit the characteristic aroma).

Boil 2.5 liters of water, add salt and pour the pasta into it. Boil them as needed, following the instructions on the package. When ready, drain the broth, keeping 1/2 cup of it.

Finely grate the yellow cheese, mix it with milk and butter. Place the mixture on the stove at medium temperature, season and stir. Then add the washed arugula leaves, stir again and then pour the cooked pasta into the sauce. If it is too thick, pour in the broth you have separated.

Mix well and distribute the dish on a plate. Cut the walnuts, sprinkle with each portion and serve.
