How To Cook Pasta With Broccoli, Cauliflower And Milk Sauce - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons raw pasta (choose smaller ones, such as elbow)
  • 3 teaspoons broccoli roses
  • 2 teaspoons cauliflower roses
  • 3 large carrots, cut to length, and thinly sliced
  • 2 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tea cup white flour
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh milk and chicken broth
  • 3 tea cups grated cheddar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • salt, black and red pepper

Method of preparation :

Boil the pasta in a saucepan, finally add the broccoli, cauliflower, carrot and celery (in the last 5-6 minutes of cooking). Drain and transfer to a pan.

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the onions until soft. Stir in the flour and pour in the milk and broth, stirring with a wire to make a homogeneous sauce. Cook for 2 minutes until it starts to thicken. Add the cheese at the end, the mustard and season.

Mix the sauce with the macaroni and vegetables, sprinkle with paprika and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees until golden brown.

Serve the pasta with warm vegetables.
