Required products :

  • 500 grams of pasta
  • 800 grams of minced meat
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 400 grams of yellow cheese
  • basil to taste
  • dill to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • oil

 

For the sauce:

  • 1 liter of fresh milk
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 100 grams of flour
  • nutmeg to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Pour boiling water over the tomatoes for a minute, then peel and chop finely. Grate carrots. Peel an onion, cut it into semicircles and fry it lightly in hot oil. Add carrots to it, fry for about 2 minutes and pour the minced meat. When lightly fried, add the tomatoes and spices. Stew everything on low heat for 15 - 20 minutes.

Pour the pasta into boiling salted water and cook until done. Drain with a colander.

Make the sauce. Melt the butter over low heat, add the flour, stir and wait until the mixture is golden. Then pour the milk gradually, in a thin stream, stirring constantly. When the milk boils, let it simmer on low heat until the consistency of the sauce approaches that of liquid cream. Add nutmeg, salt and ground black pepper to taste, stir.

Grate the yellow cheese and you should "assemble" the dish.

Grease the bottom of a baking dish with oil, pour the cooked pasta, flatten with a spoon and pour half of the sauce. Spread a layer of minced meat with the vegetables and add the remaining sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake the casserole in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.
