Required products :

  • 220 grams of pasta
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup of milk and cream
  • 1 teaspoon cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 tea cups cheddar, grated
  • 1/2 tea cup dry bread crumbs

Method of preparation :

Boil the pasta and drain.

Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour, salt and pepper and stir. Pour the milk and cream and make a smooth sauce.

After boiling, simmer for 2 minutes and reduce the temperature. Simmer lightly for 10 minutes.

Add the grated cheddar in portions and stir. After about 5 minutes, remove from the heat when the cheese has melted.

Pour the cooked pasta into the sauce and stir.

Transfer to a pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees until the bread crumbs are toasted.
