Learn how to cook "Peacock Eye Meatballs with Quail Eggs and Yellow Cheese". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 400 - 600 grams of minced mixture
  • 8 - 10 quail eggs
  • 200 grams of yellow cheese
  • 1 - 2 heads of old onions
  • connection green onions
  • olive oil
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Season the minced meat with salt and spices to taste, grate the yellow cheese on a coarse grater, chop the green onions. Also cut the old onion and fry until done in olive oil (for about 3 - 5 minutes).

Add green onions, fried old and grated yellow cheese to the minced meat. Knead well and form meatballs from the mixture. Make indentations on the surface of each, in which you will knock 1 quail egg later. Fry the meatballs in hot oil. First fry on the side with the indentation for about 5 - 6 minutes (until a yellow crust forms), then turn on the other side.

The yellow cheese in the minced meat melts quickly, so no long heat treatment is required.

Grease a pan with oil and arrange the finished meatballs in it, leaving the side with the place for the eggs on top. Beat one egg in each well, season with salt and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at a temperature of 170 - 180 degrees.

Enjoy your meal!
