Necessary products:

900 grams of sugar, 2 teaspoons of water and a pinch of citric acid are added to 1 kg of pears.

Method of preparation:

Choose a variety of small soft pears. Cut unhealthy areas on them, if any.

 

Wash and pierce with a fork.

 

Mix the water and sugar, place the dish on the stove and when the mixture boils, put the pears in it. Cook for about 5 minutes. Leave the fruit in the syrup for a day. Then put the pot on the fire and let the jam boil for 20-30 minutes. Towards the end of cooking, add a pinch of citric acid.

 

Distribute the hot jam in jars, close them and turn upside down until cool.
