How To Cook Peppers Stuffed With Rice, Beans And Tomatoes - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 tea cups rice (boiled)
  • 2 teaspoons beans (boiled)
  • 3-4 carrots
  • 3-4 heads of old onions
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic
  • about 10 peppers for stuffing (the number depends on their size)
  • 5-6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 300 milliliters of tomato sauce (or homemade ketchup)
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Finely chop the onion and garlic, grate the carrot. Fry them until soft in hot olive oil. Add ground black pepper and salt, then add the cooked beans and rice. Finally, pour the tomato sauce and let the mixture cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring in the meantime.

Cut the top (with the tails) of the peppers, remove the seeds and fill with the combination of vegetables, beans and rice.

Arrange in a pan and bake for 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees.

Their surface will acquire an appetizing coating.

Serve with fresh parsley leaves.
